Penny’s foster mom has three words to describe this dainty little flower of a girl: sweet, sweet and SWEET! She will steal your heart and make you wonder how you could have gotten along without her for all these years. Penny is a real joy and is certain to be a wonderful addition to your home.

Penny

She is super cat-safe, and also gets along well with the other greyhound in her house, a hound who is notorious for being difficult to get along with. She’s very submissive and although she has yet to display any real bad habits, she is easily voice correctable with a stern command of “no.” Penny is a perfect angel…

… in the house, and in fact, is offering a course at the local community college called, “Outside Is For Pottying and Inside Is For All the Rest.” Penny isn’t currently living with children, but she is great with the kids she has met in the park—they can’t get enough of her.

Here are some more reasons why you will fall madly in love with Penny: she has a little spot of hair on her head that is growing in the opposite direction; she likes to catch flies that are trapped in the house; when she wags her tail, it doesn’t just go from side to side, it goes in a full 360° circle; she will follow you from room to room and look at you with adoring eyes; when she is intently smelling something, the end of her nose twitches, like Samantha on Bewitched; she has chocolate brown coloring on her nose and on her back thighs; her head is the perfect small wedge shape to fit into the palm of your hand, allowing for easy covering with your kisses; and she likes to snuggle.
